As our global manufacturing footprint continues to expand,
talent development is growing with it.

As Hualian Ceramics continues to expand its global manufacturing footprint, ensuring that production standards, quality awareness, and safety requirements are consistently implemented on the frontline remains essential to the stable operation of its overseas facilities.

Recently, Hualian Ceramics’ Vietnam subsidiary, Yizhaoli, launched a dedicated training program for newly recruited frontline employees in multiple batches. Built on the Group’s three-tier training management framework for overseas subsidiaries, the program follows a coordinated approach in which Hualian Academy provides overall guidance, the factory manages implementation, and production teams ensure on-site execution.

The program is designed to embed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workplace safety requirements, internal policies, corporate culture, and core values throughout frontline operations. Beyond strengthening employees’ practical capabilities, it also supports the development of a more globally aligned organization.

Bringing consistent production standards
to every role on the frontline.

The seven-day program combines two core modules: theoretical learning and hands-on job training.

New employees begin with an introduction to the company, the factory environment, and basic job requirements before moving gradually into actual production settings. Under one-on-one guidance from experienced trainers, they systematically learn standardized operating procedures, process requirements, and the fundamentals of equipment operation.

Safety and quality remain central throughout the program. To better support local employees in Vietnam, the training is adapted to local language and learning needs through bilingual instruction, case studies, on-site demonstrations, and hands-on practice. By learning through both instruction and practice, employees gradually develop a clear understanding of standards, become familiar with their roles, and build strong awareness of standardized operations.

From onboarding to independent work,
building a complete talent development cycle.

At the end of the seven-day program, new employees undergo a comprehensive assessment combining a written test with practical job evaluation. The assessment not only measures what they have learned but also evaluates their readiness for the role. Only employees who successfully complete the assessment are formally assigned to their positions.

Training, however, does not end with the assessment. The Vietnam factory will continue to monitor how new employees adapt to their roles and provide targeted guidance and support when challenges arise in day-to-day operations.

The goal is to ensure that training translates into consistent frontline performance—helping employees progress from learning how to perform their tasks to working independently and maintaining stable, standardized operations.

Strengthening manufacturing through talent,
and building a solid foundation for overseas operations.

From every operating procedure to every production process, and from safety awareness to the consistent execution of quality standards, reliable manufacturing is built through every step of production—and through every employee on the frontline.

As Hualian Ceramics continues to deepen its global manufacturing footprint, we will further strengthen talent development and production management systems across our overseas facilities. By embedding consistent manufacturing standards, quality requirements, and safety awareness into frontline operations, we aim to provide customers around the world with increasingly stable, reliable products and services.
